This is part of the grateful series.
I’m grateful I can write again (albeit very slowly).
Writing is a therapeutic experience—it allows me to clear my mind.
The process of writing is most enjoyable when I’m feeling clutter minded and anxious. In these times, I try to focus on one idea, concept, or stream of consciousness that exists. I attempt to declutter my mind by actualizing some of my ideas and pulling them out. When I document my thoughts in writing, I feel as though those ideas no longer need to occupy space in my mind. My mind is getting clearer.
In the last little while, I haven’t been able to write. I observed some of the effects it had on my mental state. Particularly, I’d feel anxious, frustrated, absentminded, preoccupied.
I’m grateful I can write again.
