This is part of the grateful series.
Each morning, I direct a few splashes of cold water from the faucet to my face.
It wakes me up.
More than that, it reminds me of the fortune I possess. I have water at my request. I can control it’s temperature with ease. Access to the water is in close proximity—available in the washroom I share with my Grandma.
Each morning, I’m refreshed.
More importantly, I’m reminded of all that I have. I wouldn’t want to start my morning any other way.
